Wolves v Fulham

Wolves v Fulham, Saturday 23rd April, 3.00 kick off, Molineux
It’s came to that time of the season when three points could be the difference between relegation and survival. For Wolves three home points are vital where as a win for Fulham would virtually ensure them premiership football next year. But who will come out on top in this bottom half survival battle?
Wolves come into the game off the back of two straight losses in poor fashion but only find themselves two points off safety with a game in hand. Most fans around Molineux think that a win is vital on Saturday if they are going to mount an incredible fight back. After a week off due to Stoke playing in the cup their squad has been boosted with the possible return of Sylvan Ebanks Blake and Michael  Kightly coming back into full fitness. The Molineux men have had a good run at home in the last six home games with three wins and a draw. But after conceding seven goals in the last two games McCarthy has told his side to get back to basics so a more solid Wolves side should be evident on Saturday.
The visitors sit just on the edge of safety with five points separating them from the bottom three they will know that one more win will more or less secure survival. They will be without influential played Damian Duff against the Midlands side. Mousa Dembele will be looking to score again after his goal gave Fulham the win over Wolves at Craven Cottage. He will play alongside leading goal scorer Clint Dempsey on ten goals.
My prediction for the game is for a Wolves win as the side need to bounce back after a poor run and have done that a lot at home this season. Obviously there is a lot at stake and with Fulham’s defence being quite solid alongside a warning for the Wolves defence I think it will be a low scoring game.
